The public Trump impeachment hearings are over (for now). What's next?

North America;

The House Intelligence Committee has wrapped up almost two weeks worth of public testimonies in President Trump’s impeachment hearings.

Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff will now put together a report about the investigation and to send to the House Judiciary Committee.

This committee will then decide whether or not to draft articles of impeachment that will go before the entire House of Representatives where the Democrats hold a majority.

If the House votes to impeach, the Senate must hold a trial on the articles of impeachment before voting whether or not to convict.

The Senate currently has a Republican majority.

As of now, there will be no more public hearing, but if someone with valuable testimony comes forward, that could change.
