The Organization of America States has found that Bolivia’s presidential election in October had “deliberate” and “malicious” efforts of fraud.

The group audited the election and in a report realized this week, described a vote rigged in former President Evo Morales’s favor through false signatures and other methods.

The report states “Given the overwhelming evidence we have found, we can confirm a series of malicious operations aimed at altering the will of the voters,” according to Reuters.

In October, Morales claimed to have won a fourth term, leading to protests over election fraud. He later resigned and fled to Mexico.

Morales has not commented on the OAS report, the BBC reported.

Bolivia's congress annulled the elections in November. Morales and his Vice President have also been banned from running again.

Interim president Jeanine Áñez said the country will have new elections but has not set a date yet.
