The U.S. Navy has suspended flight training for more than 300 students from Saudi Arabia who are studying at three bases in Florida.

The Navy's actions are in response to a shooting by a Saudi Air Force officer last week that killed three U.S. service members and injured eight. The shooter was also shot and killed.

Saudi students at Pensacola Naval Air Station (where the shooting took place), Whiting Field, and the Naval Air Station Mayport will be restricted from flying for an undetermined period of time, the Associated Press reported.
