Affordable housing is an issue in many cities in the United States, but maybe nowhere more so than in California's Silicon Valley. Real estate and rental prices have climbed so high that even well-paid tech company employees are struggling to find a reasonably-priced place to live. Recently some of the region's most valuable companies have come out with billion-dollar initiatives to combat the crisis. CGTN's Mark Niu reports.
