During The Heat debate, the founder and former Managing Director of International Strategic Alliances, Mr. George Koo spoke to CGTN.

Koo says that most members of the U.S. Congress take a negative view about Xinjiang.

He referred to that view as a distortion, exaggeration, and – to an extent - a fabrication. 

He said he believes that the Chinese government has decided not to repeat the same mistake in Xinjiang, in order to make sure young people in Xinjiang are properly educated, and understood where their futures lie.

During The Heat debate, Mr. George Koo told CGTN that the vocational centers, which some call prisons, cannot compare to the U.S. border encampments for illegal immigrants, but are more like a school campus, he said.
