Agreement on first phase of US-China trade deal is good for automakers

The U.S.-China trade agreement should bring relief to automakers. The industry has had to contend with global trade disruption in recent years and for some U.S. auto companies, strike action as well.

All of that all comes at a time when the industry is preparing for a new era fueled by technological advancements.
