Columbus Ohio Police twitter said that they have responded to reports of a man firing shots from an apartment complex in West Columbus, Ohio. 

Police said that the suspect remained inside the house, but there was a hostage negotiation taking place to peaceful dissolve the situation. At this time, it is unclear as to how many people are inside the home.  

Two local high schools are in lockdown.
