Fordlândia: Henry Ford's planned city in the middle of the Amazon rainforest
CGTN

In the early 1920s, American businessman Henry Ford set out an audacious plan for the middle of the Amazon rainforest. It was called Fordlândia, an industrial town that would have near unlimited access to rubber trees.
