Plastic green army women toys are soon coming to a shelf near you.
Over the summer, a six-year-old Vivian, from Arkansas wrote a letter to Jeff Imel, the president of BMC Toys, the maker of the notorious green, plastic army men.
“Why do you not make girl army men?” She asked.
Now the toy company is making them and they’ll be ready by Christmas 2020.
The figurines will come in four military poses, such as a female captain holding a handgun and binoculars and a kneeling female soldier holding a bazooka.
