California festival blends Chinese practices with Western Christmas holiday

Chinese Lantern Festival is a tradition dating back more than 2000 years. It commonly marks the end of Chinese New Year celebrations and the beginning of spring. But one such festival here in the United States has been celebrated for the last eight years to coincide with the Western Christmas holiday. This year it's taking place in the Los Angeles area of California. Nearly 80,000 people are expected to visit the colorful exhibit over the holiday period. CGTN's Ediz Tiyansa explains.
