A solar eclipse took place on Wednesday. The moon covered the sun's center, but it wasn't a full eclipse, so it had the appearance of a 'ring of fire'.

The eclipse was visible to people in Pakistan, India, Indonesia, and Thailand.

People wore wearing solar filtered glasses to watch the event.
