Police in Las Vegas have released dramatic surveillance video showing the moment a 93-year-old man allegedly shoots and wounds an employee at an apartment complex in Las Vegas during a dispute last week.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the suspect was upset about water and flooding damage in his apartment when he confronted front desk employees.
The footage shows the alleged gunman went to the apartment office and pulled out a Glock 9 mm handgun.
After he allowed a female employee to leave, police say he fired his weapon at a male employee at least two times.
LVMPD Officer Ronald Hornyak responded within minutes and orders the suspect to drop the weapon.
According to body camera footage, the officer fired a shot through the glass of the front door.
Police say it misses the suspect but goes through his jacket lapel.
The male employee was treated at a hospital for gunshot wounds and is expected to recover, police say.
The gunman faces a number of charges including attempted murder with a deadly weapon.
