300 people in China are now infected with the novel coronavirus and now it's spread to four countries outside of China, but officials say there is no need to panic.
They stress the virus is not SARS and the government is better prepared to treat this virus compared to the SARS epidemic 17 years ago.
They advise people to wash their hands, avoid large crowds and to go to the doctor if they have a fever.
Although there is no special drug to treat the virus, officials say China has the methods necessary to detect the virus and treat patients
