Professor Andrew Pekosz from the Bloomberg School of Public Health highlights the importance of tracking possible mutations by having virus data available earlier and warns of the dangers in mild infectious cases. 

"We have lots of information on the virus…The more information we have on this virus early, the better we can keep track of mutations that maybe changed the way the virus is behaving," Pekosz says.
