Twice a year, 15 early stage biology companies move to downtown San Francisco to take part in an intense four-month program that moves beyond their PhD's and post-doctoral training. 

Some of the projects on display showed food innovation like rice farms that can be grown in the ocean. 

CGTN went to IndieBio "Demo Day" to see some of the work to turn science into a real product that people pay for.
