After Hurricane Dorian destroyed large parts of the Bahamas in September, thousands of evacuees were brought to the U.S., with many finding refuge in Florida.
Temporary visas for these evacuees are now about to expire. But going back home, where the islands are still in shambles, does not seem like a viable option.
