The Trump administration's widened travel ban is causing concern in the Nigerian and U.S. business communities. 

Tourists and students are exempt from the ban but it specifically targets Nigerians seeking permanent residence in the U.S.

Nigerians are some of the most highly-educated immigrants in the U.S. Remittances sent back to Nigeria run into the billions of dollars every year, according to some estimates.

Meanwhile for Nigeria's growing tech industry, it could be a double-edged sword. Some fear it will drag down investment from the U.S. but others believe it could encourage top talent to stay in Nigeria.
