220 couples attended a mass wedding in the Philippines on Thursday.

They exchanged vows and kissed while wearing surgical masks amid a coronavirus outbreak.

The Philippines had the first coronavirus death outside China about three weeks ago.

More than 2,250 people have died from the virus, mostly in China.

"It feels different to kiss while wearing masks, but it was required," one participant said.

Annual mass weddings are a post Valentine's Day tradition in Manila.
