It was one of the worst cases of racial violence in American history. Estimates are hundreds of black residents of Tulsa, in the U.S. state of Oklahoma were killed by white residents on two days in 1921.
Now, nearly a hundred years later, the city is making plans to excavate a portion of a cemetery where many victims are believed buried.
