African American farmer on issues facing industry ahead of primary

Two-thirds of the vote in this week's Democrat presidential primary in South Carolina is expected to be African American.

But as a whole, South Carolina is deeply Republican and African Americans still deal daily with the legacies of slavery and discrimination—nowhere more so than in the farming community where farmers of color, once thriving, are struggling to survive.

CGTN’s Nathan King spoke with one black farmer who is determined to make sure his farm stays in the family.
