Students at Intercultural Montessori Language School in Chicago, Illinois have shown their support for the Chinese people by making donations to Wuhan, China.

The donations were given to the Chinese consulate in Chicago which includes nearly 5,800 face masks and 250 sets of protective gear.

The students raised nearly 3,000 dollars by offering hot chocolate at a school charity event to cover the medical supply costs.

Aside from holding a fundraiser, some students having personal connections to Wuhan, also organized events hoping to cheer up everyone affected by COVID-19.

One event involved singing a famous Chinese song often used by charities, "Let the world filled with love." Students hope everyone affected by the outbreak can fight through it.
