Last Friday Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden held a virtual town hall where he was to take questions online as part of the social distancing that many people in the United States are practicing in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The video was broadcast live on Facebook but saw a number of technical difficulties. At one point his video feed disappeared then reappeared but it seemed that Biden wasn't aware that it came back.

He was seen walking around while talking into a phone.

The feed was eventually cut short after about 4 minutes as Biden apologized for the technical difficulties.

The campaign said they will do better next time.

They will hold another virtual town hall for people in Florida, Arizona, Illinois and Ohio.

It begins at 8 p.m. eastern on Biden's Facebook page.
