In the U.S., a group of first-generation Chinese immigrants have built a real-time coronavirus tracker for the U.S. and Canada. 

The website, 1Point3Acres, aims to give the public more transparency and increased awareness about the global pandemic threat.

CGTN talked to one of the founders, Yu Guo. She told us that Wuhan is her hometown and says many family and friends are still under a mandatory lockdown. 

After losing her uncle to the disease in February, she wants to do something to help with the outbreak in the U.S.
