G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors virtual meeting to address global challenge presented by the COVID-19 pandemic 23 March 2020.

G20 leaders met this week, but not in person.

On Monday, finance ministers and central bank governors met online as part of international recommendations to practice social distancing to discuss a coordinated response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Saudi Arabia, which was to host the annual gathering of governments and central bank governors, is now working to make the all the meetings virtual including the G20 Leaders' Summit which will convene in a few days.

The G20 members include: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the U.S. and the European Union. Spain, although not a member, has participated in previous summits. IMF and World Bank are also EU institutions, are also represented.
