The announcement that the 2020 Summer Olympic Games will be postponed due to coronavirus precautions has disappointed many Olympic medal hopefuls.

But many athletes also believe it was the right decision. The International Olympic Committee has not yet set a date for the new Tokyo Games, but said it will happen no later than summer 2021.

CGTN's Dan Williams talked to Casey Eichfeld, a U.S. Olympic U.S. slalom canoeist and Aaron Mann of the American Canoe Association about how they feel about the delay and what it will mean to the sport.
