The coronavirus pandemic has shuttered museums around the world. 

Many are closed for a month or indefinitely.

So museums are highlighting virtual tours of their galleries, 3-D views of their pieces, and online art and history education.

Google Arts and Culture offers virtual views and content from more than 1,200 museums around the world. 

Learning website Open Culture has also compiled a list of virtual galleries.
