Scotland's chief medical officer resigned Sunday after facing criticism for visiting her second home twice during the coronavirus outbreak. Although Dr. Catherine Calderwood had cautioned the public to avoid such trips, pictures of her on family trips to Earlsferry were published in a Scottish newspaper.
