During the outbreak of COVID-19, China's national lawmakers play an active role in helping people resume their normal lives.

In the northeastern Chinese city of Anshan, Guan Qijun, a lawmaker who works as a high school Chinese teacher, has been teaching her students online while at the same time facilitating legislation on online education, as the novel coronavirus keeps children at home.
