This is how activists protested on Capitol Hill today while following social distancing rules. Each of the 1,000 pop-up signs represents 18,000 American health care workers. They're highlighting the government's failure to provide all healthcare and essential workers Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Activists are calling on the Trump administration and the U.S. Congress to mandate, manufacture, and distribute PPE across the country. The lack of PPE has been a bone of contention in the U.S. as photos of health care workers in plastics bags spread on social media. More than 2 million people signed various online petitions urging the government to take action.

Do you think health care and essential workers in the U.S. are being cared for?
