While newsgathering in New Orleans, CGTN's Sean Callebs stopped by the Mother in Law Lounge, a once live music venue featuring America's legendary jazz trumpeter, Kermit Ruffins. 

Ruffins is famously known as the New Orleans idol. He started playing trumpet in since 8h grade and has co-founded Rebirth Brass Band in 1983 along with Barbecue Swingers in 1992, a traditional jazz quintet. 

The coronavirus pandemic has now moved his live music venue from a bar to online. Kermit Ruffins tells us how he is managing his shows while also helping his community.
