Healthcare professionals working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic are at high risk, especially in places where personal protective equipment is in critical shortage. 

Nurses from the UCLA Hospital in Southern California spoke up against the sterilization of disposable face masks for reuse. 

In a protest outside the hospital, colleagues and community members participated in a drive-by demonstration by honking from their cars. 

But the lack of protective equipment is only one of several challenges nurses face on a daily basis.
