Stanford's prestigious startup StartX has developed a task force to find ways to use technology tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

Companies such as Kangaroo Health have presented their product that founder Xiaoxu Kang says is like a "personal nurse in your pocket". The app checks in with patients every day on symptoms and vitals to provide AI-driven health assessments.

AVA Breathe is also developing new face masks and coverings, such as tiny personal air purifiers that can be worn behind a mask and can also monitor the wearer's respiratory rate,  respiratory pressure, and body temperature.

See how tech is responding to the pandemic.
