The number of officially-reported COVID-19 cases continues to skyrocket in Brazil, passing the 125,000 mark and, now more than 8,000 deaths.
Meanwhile, state governors have been left to make their own policy.
Rio de Janeiro, the second hardest hit state has extended its isolation rules at least until May 11, with the peak of the pandemic still believed to be a few weeks away.
