In many low-income neighborhoods in Argentina, the fear of hunger is greater than the fear of COVID-19. 

The official number of people infected by the virus in Argentina remains low, but millions live in poverty, and many face hunger. 

Experts expect the poverty rate to increase significantly as a result of the lockdown. It's especially tough for those who work in the informal sector, where jobs are hard to come by.
