A nationwide COVID-19 quarantine comes in the middle of a gas shortage. And bicycles are bringing people what they need. 

Polling shows 23 percent of brick and mortar stores have started using bicycle deliveries.   

Bike repair shops are also doing big business. 

Bicycle delivery is also an opportunity for a side gig during the pandemic. Payment is based on time and distance.
