Children under the age of 16 in Buenos Aires are now allowed to venture outside their homes - for one hour, on one day of each weekend.

While Argentina eased certain restrictions this week, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 continues to grow, particularly in areas like Buenos Aires City and Province.

Authorities have said a surge in new cases could prompt them to tighten restrictions once again, and force the nation's children back inside their homes.
