Bikes becoming more popular form of transportation in Peru during COVID-19

Studies show Peru's capital Lima is one of the worst cities in the world for traffic.

But after two months of strict coronavirus lock down, the streets have cleared.

Authorities have encouraged people to use bicycles to get around to avoid contact with others and risk spreading infection.

Now the government wants to double the city's cycle paths to 300 kilometers.
