Updated 2020.05.21 06:39 GMT+8

The COVID-19 lockdown hit one U.S. guitar maker hard.

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced a partial reopening of the state last Friday.

The decision to reopen some non essential businesses, has been a relief for Paul Reed Smith (PRS), a high end guitar manufacturer.

The company kept 374 employees on its payroll during the two month shutdown, applied for and received a Small Business Administration loan, taking on millions of dollars in debt.
