Female leaders around the world are being praised for taking swift, decisive action to effectively fight COVID-19.
They include New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs of the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten.
The approach of these female leaders had one thing in common - they shut down their economies quickly to contain the spread of the virus and their messaging was blunt. Learn more.
