A group of Chinese epidemiology experts arrived in Peru over the weekend to help the Peruvian authorities fight the coronavirus pandemic. 

On Monday, Peru reported some 120,000 COVID-19 cases and nearly 3,500 deaths.

Arriving after dark, the Chinese epidemiologists were welcomed to Peru, where the coronavirus continues to spread.

It's hoped the doctors can share their experience in fighting COVID-19 with a country that needs it.
