Thailand is racing to produce a coronavirus vaccine.

The National Primate Research Center of Thailand is in its testing phase, using macaque monkeys after trials on mice were unsuccessful.

According to the World Health Organization, there are over 100 vaccines in various stages of development globally.

And at least 8 of those trials are being conducted on humans.

Researchers in Thailand hope to have a vaccine ready by 2021.
