China adopts draft decision to make Hong Kong national security laws

China's lawmakers have wrapped up its annual gathering in Beijing on Wednesday. Besides the highly anticipated economic plan and first-ever civil code, deputies to the National People's Congress or NPC voted to move ahead with the draft of national security legislation for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Premier Li Keqiang met the press after the closing ceremony.
