A giant plastic bubble with adjoining tubes may look out of place in the garden of an elderly care home in northern France.
But this inflatable innovation is helping residents and their loved ones be physically in touch again, while respecting safety measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
None of the 60 residents Schadet-Vercoustre Foundation retirement home in Bourbourg have been infected by COVID-19, thanks to strict adherence to measures such as social distancing and banning visits by relatives.
