Hundreds of migrant children and teenagers have been deported by American authorities under a new border policy as countries grapple with the coronavirus pandemic. 

It's part of U.S. President Donald Trump's new border decree that makes use of a 1944 law that grants the president broad power to block foreigners from entering the country in order to prevent the serious threat from a dangerous disease. 

Advocacy groups argue the move not only violates the rights of immigrants but also puts their lives at risk.
