Remittances, the money emigrants send to their families back home, are an important source of income for millions of people around the world. 

In Venezuela, that has been especially true in recent years, owing to an economic crisis which has led more than 10 percent of the population to leave the country. 

But the coronavirus has hit that income hard and many migrants are considering whether to stay or to leave the country.
