China has responded to questions about allegations made by John Bolton in his forthcoming book about Trump asking China for assistance to help him win the U.S. election.

Here's what the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Thursday.

"China has been upholding the principle of non-interference in other countries' internal affairs. We have no intention and will not interfere in the U.S.'s internal affairs and presidential election." Zhao Lijian, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson stressed at a regular briefing.
