George Floyd's death in police custody has sparked anti-racism protests across the U.S., and it has also reignited the debate over reparations for slavery. 

Proposals to compensate African Americans range from the federal government paying out trillions of dollars - to individual organizations like universities trying to reconcile with their historical connection to slavery.
