As if the coronavirus isn't scary enough.
How about a horror film-inspired face mask?
These are the work of a Filipino prosthetic makeup artist. He usually works on movie and television productions. The coronavirus shut those down for now. So he came up with a new area to work.
"I initially just saw a face mask with a monster printed on it and thought I could make a 3D version just for fun. At the back of my head I thought maybe I could make some money out of this," said Rene Abelardo. Turns out - that was a pretty good plan.
He's sold dozens of masks which go for $6-$10.
He now has hundreds of orders from across the Philippines.
