COVID-19 cases surge in Florida, as local governments try to keep businesses afloat

Florida is grappling with a surge in COVID-19 cases, with infection rate tripling over just the past week.

Cases hit 100,000 on Monday, with more than 3100 deaths.

While officials are urging more state residents to follow social distancing and mask guidelines, they're holding firm to commitments to keep Florida open for business.
