NYC rental vacancies peak due to the pandemic

Manhattan's rental vacancy rate hit a 14-year high in May. 

After realizing remote working was here to stay for a while, large numbers of New Yorkers fled the city.

At the same time, agents have been forbidden from showing apartments until very recently.
